Game finders

Has anyone used one of these, and if so what do you think?

RE: Game finders

A hunting partner brought one along on our elk hunt last year. After killing an elk,we tested it to see if we could have used it alone to find the elk.In my opinion,it is worthless.

I suppose I shouldmake it clearthat I don't own one and have never played with one in the woods. I have had an in depth talk along with a lengthy demonstration of one by the "inventor" at one of the ATA shows about five years ago. I came away from that visit with the feeling that if you didn't know what you were doing it would be one expensive piece of junk in your back pack.

Since then I have never read one positive thing about this gadget from anyone that has used it.
