anyone ealse gotten this new call?? I saw a show about it the other day and Wal-mart has started stocking hunting equipment and they had them so picked one up,, interesting call will be trying it out in late OCt. eirly Nov. it sure is a strange sound..

There's a video of this thing working floating around somewhere. Reb will probably have the site here before the night is over lol, but I'll look for it. Pretty interesting video, if I remember right, this guy arrowed a hot doe, and when the buck came upon her, he made a new and weird sound, like a growl. The inventor had never heard anything like it, and shortly there were bucks all over the place. Btw Henry, I think it's M.A.D.D so if'n ya'll go looking you need the right letters. Glad to hear Mal-Wart has them, read somewhere that Mal-Wart and Horton had a falling out, today at said super mart, I only saw a Steel Force and a Copperhead for xbows. May just be early yet.

lol dan the calll they say is a very emotional call that goes beyond a grunt,, to me it almost sounds like a combo between a snort and grunt . if I knew how to add sounds to a post I would post it.. heres a link to their site

One time I spine shot a six pointer and had to get out of the tree to put it out, and when I got on the ground about five yards away that buck made sounds that I never care to hear again. I translated them as "I may be a deer and you a man but if my spine works before you put another arrow in me I am gona get up and kill you!!" Almost wanted to bury that deer instead of eat it. Had it processed and gave the meat to some guys at work!

I have had this call they call the buck growl for a couple years. I have called in several big mature bucks with this call, it does work. Ive also seen video to back it up. Drury outdoors had a good movie 4 it. This call represents a buck that has locked down on a doe in heat. If other domenant bucks, even year and a halfs and up hear this call they will come looking. Its kind of funny because they will come right to where they heard this sound from. aka right to your tree.

I bought the MADD Buck Growl when it first came out and never really had much luck with it at all. But then i bought the Primos Buck Roar and wow!!! I had deer coming right in on a rope. And the first time I heard a buck make this sound, I almost fell out of my treestand cause it flat out startled me. Then I heard it again and then I realized that the Primos Buck Roar call sounds just like the real sound that bucks make!
