Cabela's rain gear

I bought a set of Cabela's Dry Plus rain suede packable rain gear about 5 years ago, and they were pretty tough for about 4 years before they started leaking. I've been considering another set, but was wondering if the MT050 rain gear was worth the extra padding on the price tag. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks.

RE: Cabela's rain gear

I bought the rain suede a couple years ago as well & have been very happy with it, but also wondered if the MT050 was worth the price. My thought was I'd rather have RiversWest if I was going to spent the extra $$.

RE: Cabela's rain gear

I have both in some, specific clothing articles. For the money I think the Rain Suede is decent quality and I believe they upgraded it in the last year or so. I have an MT050 late season coverall and have found it superb in every regard. However, I did not really see much of a difference between it and the Revolution Fleece in terms of durability, quietness or colorfastness.
