Hell, Im a chevy man at heart, but guess what im driving right now? 96 Ford Ranger. Gets good gas mileage, and does what i need it to do. Quit acting like a damn fool and calm yourself down. No one gives a rats ass how many articles you can cut/paste off of Google.

Well, even after all this I went against what i had originally stated because i got a good deal on a 2000 dodge 2500 extended cab 4x4 witha cummins turbo diesel 170000 miles for 12,500 from my buddy at school. I wont be able to buy it until later this summer as he is going to the marines but he said its mine when he leaves so.... but i sstill LOVE FORD.

Recieved a notice yesterday that the local chevy dealer sent to
me wanting to place a bid on my FORD!! As it states that there
is a big demand for a used FORD F=150 can you imagine a chevy
dealer trying to con me out of my FORD ---- HAH !! ---- they
will try anything!! But, not a chance on them getting my FORD !

Well keeping in tone with my previous message it is a matter of personal opinon. And I have nothing but good things to say about the F-150 that I owned but I am not as narrow minded as others (PSEMUZZY).

I went out and bought me a 2006 Dodge 1500 TRX Off Road SLT. I hope that it serves me as well as the F150. If not I will be going back.

Honestly, I haven't read all the posts, just skipped right to page 6.

I admit, I am not too smart, but even I have enough brains to stay clear of this arguement. Don't know what it says about the rest of you.:) Have fun!

If you do the research the such as Consumer Reports on the cost/cost of upkeep/dependability the best trucks are from Japan the best domestic is a Ford. The old Ford/Chevy/Dodge debate is dead.
