Most bang for ya buck

I have really enjoyed reading the forums here. I value everyones opinion. After much reading, I have decided on a rifle. And where I am going to purchase it. Now I need a climbing tree stand. I have read several opinions on these too. Still undecided which I want just now. I'll probably need one built for a 6'4" /250 lb. man, since that describes me. What I need to know now is where to purchase what I want. I know some people like spending top dollar for their purchase. I am more interested on bottom dollar. I have no problem shopping over the internet. Are there such places that offer good products at low prices ?

Also, I'm looking for a scope for 30-06. Here again, I'm looking for the most bang for the buck. I'd like to have what "consumer reports" considers the best value. That's where your opinion comes into play. I dont want the best, nor can I afford it. But I dont want the worst. You know what I am looking for. A good all around scope at a decent price. And where to purchase it. Thanks for your help.

I am the same size as you and use Summit climbers. The Viper is probably their best all around stand. I cannot tell you the cheapest place but I would check both Cabelas and Edersbow for pricing.

Ihave a summit bowhunter and love it, but if you're in the market for a tree stand you must check out the lone wolf. They are more expensive than most, but looks to be the best. If I were buying a new stand it's the one I'd buy.

My friend has one and it's as flawless astreestand can be. Lightest stand I've seen, quiet, great belt system and folds down for easy packing. If you value your hunting, spend the F'in money and get the best. You will not be disappointed

What price range are you looking at and what type of hunting are you doing, out in the open or in the bush ?
