Rangefinders

Has anyone ever heard anything about the Simmons Yardage Master 800 Rangefinders? Also, what about the Nikon Laser 440 Prostaff? Thinking about purchasing one or the other. Any reviews would be appreciated.

I see you are an archer , if you will be useing the rangefinder for archery hunting , from a tree stand , I would recomend one of optilogic's tilt compensating rangefinders . If it will be used for gun hunting on mostly level ground , I would recomend a bushnell legend , mostly for its small size .

I use the Nikon 440, and it is flawless. I absolutely love it...Zero complaints. The small size fits real nice in a shirt pocket so it's not in the way...

Another vote for the Pro Staff 440. I love mine and have no complaints whatsoever.

2 more votes for the 440. Both my father-in-law and I own one. 1/2 yd increments and size unbeatable for bowhunters. 8x magnification great too. Overall, awesome little unit for $200.
