looking for good rain gear

I'm looking for good rain wear. Something that I can stay out all day in the rain. I was looking at Bass pro's redhead xpr Gore-tex or Cabela's Gore-tex Mt050 Guidwear. Has anyone had experience with any of these products, or any other recommendations would surely be helpful.

Redhead Squaltex from Bass Pro runs at $70 for pants and $70 for a jacket. It works really well. I bought some and it it is very breathable and lightweight.

I have had relatively good experiences with Cabelas Revolution Fleece garments. They utilize Cabelas' Dry Plus membrane (basically goretex). They are comfortable to wear, block rain/snow and wind and are very color fast. Definitely worth the cost but not packable.

I have an old poncho I got from Patagonia. It's excellent protection from rain.

Actually, their Rain Suede is also pretty nice. The Dry Plus membrane does make a slightly "swish" sound just like Gore-tex but I would have a hard time believing that anyone but the hunter can hear it.

I have the Cabela's packable light rain jacket. It folds up into itself. I can't remember the exact name of it, but it is really light & fits over my regular scent blocker coat. It is very quiet and comfortable and packs up real small to stuff in your pak.
