(LA) AKC registered british/American labrador puppies on the way. Expected end of June. Mother is a gorgeous 55 pound black british lab whose father was imported & is a Irish Field Champion. Mother is DNA tested & clear of genetic disorders. Finished duck dog that will be starting hunt tests 2014. Father to puppies is 75 pound chocolate lab with huge block head & Gator Points lineage. These puppies will have the trainability & more composed labrador attitude but the drive of the American. The last British/American litter this stud sired produced choc., yellows & blacks. Three are duck dogs for guide services & out retrieving their more seasoned retrievers, 2 are blood dogs & 3 are currently competing. This breeding produces the best of both combined. You get the drive of American lines, yet easier to train & not so hard headed from the British/Irish lines, makes for a calmer lab that still burns the field up when time to work but not as high strung in every day round the house "family" time.
