French Brittany Pointer for sale CHICAGOLAND IL
 

We have a 4 year old French brittany Pointer that we need to find a new home for. She hunts pheasants very well. She is high energy and very good with kids. She is extremaly affectionate. We
got her from a very well known breeder and paid over $1200 for her. Both her parents were champion hunters imported from France. She is NOT gun shy.
She can easily jump a four foot fence. She is very athletic. We mainly want to make sure she goes to a good home and with someone that will hunt her and knows that they are getting a high energy dog.

I'm 61 years old and am retireing and want to get back into bird hunting again. I live in CT.

Is the dog still available? Why are you getting rid of it?

She is still available. Were getting rid of her for a couple reasons. First is we just don't have the money we had four years ago to take her hunting. Second we live in a townhome with a small backyard. She's going nuts bouncing off the walls and her high energy is driving me nuts. I feel she can be better suited living with someone who maybe has a bigger yard for her where she can get more exercise, and take her hunting more. And also someone who can give her more attention than I can. We have two kids and two other dogs and she needs more than I can give.

I am interested. I will be in the Chicago area this weekend. Has she had any training? Is there anywhere nearby I might be able to see her work?
