we hunt them w/ greyhounds here in nebraska, it is a blast!! To answer your questio you need 1 hell of a big dog and a good at that. I've never seen 1 dog hold a coyote and kill it. We have to use 4 or 5.! I have seen 2 big good 3 year old males catch and kill a coyote but they would only work best w/ just them 2. If you can afford to come out here I know sum guys selling out.(402)843-8353.

thanks stuffer but i was really want the type of dog to run them to your i hear they will do this but not sure if it is true i also should ahve mentioned that around all this open area is a very large valllys that are pretty thick witch is why i wasn't sure if a grey hound could hanndle that. i was told a black mouth cur n a stagehound were great dogs any opinons?

our hounds have stage breed in them that makes them tougher and bigger boned. You should see the land we run them in. cornfeilds and trees and pastures its fun the dogs love it

i just don't see how a black and tann can run a coyote down. they are the slowest coon dog i hav eever seen. imo i just don't see how a black n tan could be that good of a dog
