Most PL puppies sell for more than that. Even a half-decent Started Flushing Lab will go for $2500 or so.

I have a 1 1/2 year old ukc registered golden retriever. He was going to be a family pet/beginning duck hunters dog, but due tocircumstances beyond my control, I have to get rid of him. I will sell him for $100.00 plus delivery (depending on where you are). Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.
