Strange invader on my deer property.

How do I hunt this guy? And do you think he is a loner?

It would be unusual to have only one wild hog in an area. If your state allows bait for deer hunting put out some corn in the area where you find evidence of the hog or hogs rooting for food. If your state does not allow bait for deer you will have to put him down while deer hunting. Looks like a nice size hog, there is some good meat there.

Alabama allowed it, my BIL put corn in the spot last week and the pig ate it all. We're going to try to get him and any others we find, hopefully they won't run the deer off. |
Put up a trail cam and note the time of day the hog visits the bait. Keep, refreshing the corn, in a couple of days be there waiting for him and the the bacon on the table. Let us know how it works out.

Cool, thanks for the info. |
How are you doing with those hogs?

Have not had a chance to hunt them yet, just been too busy. Hopefully I can spend some time in the stand the month before deer season starts. |
He is definitely not alone.
There will be more. Get ahead of them and shoot every one you see. I know that sounds bad, but they'll do more damage than you can believe. They taste pretty good ground into sausage too! |

Apparently the guy was just passing through, disappointing. Over 5000 pictures since that one and not a singe shot of him.
