I'm from New York State and planning to go on a hog hunting trip over the summer on the East Coast, though I'm not set on any state yet. If any of you guys can give me advice on property owners in that allow hunting, or some good state land to go on that would be great.

GA or SC and FL would be the states to look. Contact their game agencies to get an idea of state land areas.

Texas! It shouldn't be a surprise, but Texas by far tops this list of the best states to hunt hogs in the United States. With a hog population conservatively estimated at upwards of 1.5 million hogs, Texas has by far the largest hog population of any state.
