Ar15 Coyote Hunting In Michigan
 

I have a 300 blackout ar15 and want to coyote hunt. I live in Michigan and don't really know the laws if I can or can't use it to hunt. I live in zone 3.

Ok. But I want to do it legally and have heard about 5 rounds mags and certain calibers and dont know what I can and can't do.

Also I have heard I can only hunt during day with a 300 blackout ar15. At night do you need a smaller caliber.

You might also consider a caliber with a flatter trajectory if you are planning on distances beyond 150 yards.

I have read the DNR site and know about the range on 300 blackout. I don't really know about the center fire laws though. So can I hunt with it on private land at night or not. And still don't know on the 5 round mags.

Why don't people download pdf from the horses mouth?

I am not sure laws this year on couote huntimg, which is why you should not lisent to people on internet. But is it illegal to use center fire rifles at night to hunt coyote? Which really limits you.
