Looking for farmers or land owners with hog problems

I am a college football player and student in the state of Georgia looking for some places to hog hunt while at school. Preferably in Georgia or eastern Alabama. Thank you for any help. Want to help land owners or farmers get rid of feral hogs. I have a bow and guns so weapon regulations are not a problem.

Not likely to happen here or anywhere. Many posts such as yours go unanswered.

You will see "we have too many hogs" "hogs rutting up yards" etc. etc. But, no one is likely to invite you to help solve their "problem". Better bet is to knock on doors, seek public ground, or find someone local to provide you a contact such as a warden or state game manager.

Are you saying there are hogs in West Central Illinois?

Call local farmers' coops. If you call each one you can find in South Georgia alone, someone is bound to give you a tip.
It's more rugged, but if you can bear to do the same for coops in the NE part of Georgia, you might strike opportunity.

By "here" I meant this website.

However, there's a post on here alleging a dead, wild hog near Crab Orchard Lake. The closest to IL that I've considered is public ground in southeast and south central Missouri. My latest research will likely take me to southeast Oklahoma for my first hog hunt that wasn't in a farmer's pen.
