Default Berger VLD-Hunting on Hog, Unexpected Result

First field test with this bullet. I expected a clean kill. It definitely dropped the hog and generally performed as designed, but did not get the desired lethal hydrostatic shock (expected that close to the spinal cord in the neck and that close to the brain).

you make awesome vids, stick to the night timestuff, cause man your ugly in daylight!!!
just kidding, not sure what happened there but it has happened to me also, call it a fluke till it happens again. obvious his neck was broke, parralized but not completely dead, have had that happen before. from your vid it was by no fault of the bullet.

Looked like a good hit. Sometimes hogs are just pretty dang tough. Certainly the bullet seemed to perform as intended. Can't say I'd do anything differently.
