It isn't that the corn "soaked" in diesel will draw in hogs. If diesel was some sort of miracle attractant, we would all be using it and all killing hogs. It just doesn't work that way. None of these miracle attractants do.
What diesel does do is dissuade many other animals from eating the corn. You don't soak the corn in diesel. Purported correct amounts vary, but as little as a couple of teaspoons per 50 lb bag may be enough to do the job as as much as 1 cup per 300 lbs is what I have seen suggested as a max amount.
As noted, it isn't good for any animal that eats it. Hydrocarbons are a form of poison, plain and simple. There are no suggested good dietary amounts for humans or farm animals and certainly NOT for wildlife.
