I'm old as dirt and don't really get out like I used to, it is just occasionally now and not continuously. I'm living in Central Germany and have been for many years. Born and raised in So. Cal. but have traveled a lot, mostly the South West and in the Confederate States.
Most of my hunting has been Boar and Fox but I manage to take a Deer every year. I really enjoy small game hunting and bird hunting in the fall.
Things are a little different here. Wild Boar are endemic and not an invasive species, they manage them and don't really try to exterminate them. I may have some insight from time to time about their behavior and tendencies. Stuff I've picked up from the old timers and my own experiences. They have been hunting pigs here for many thousands of years.
I do my part to keep the Fox population under control, so we have some small game to hunt.

A lot of good hunting here, mixed forest and farmland. You have to learn to navigate the typical German rules and regulations, they tend to micro manage most everything. I'm a member of a hunting club and the guild.
I was born and raised in the San Fernando valley. Left when I was 18 to go into the military and haven't been back much since. I'm not much of a city person, ever since I could ride bicycle I headed out of town and into the hills, every chance I got.
