I'm trying to go hog hunting, but all the wma near me have a lot of weekend hunts listed on the fwc site but not during the week?
kinda wish I knew someone with private land...
but none the less where is the easiest place to hunt hog? as in drive their almost any time and hunt with very little difficulty...
I live in Orlando and am probably willing to travel within 3 hours of their, additionally id be willing to go within an hour of southwest Florida since I have a place to stay there.

Florida is a big state. Kind of hard to give advice if you don't say where you are or how far you want to drive. I used to live in Pensacola and hunted hogs on private land. I've heard that a lot of the orange growers in south FL allow hog hunts since they damage to orchards. Without any additional info from you, nobody can really help.

First, wishing won't solve anything, but if you get out and find someone who will let you hunt for free, you can still expect to spend time and money to hunt there.
Cost of a feeder, stand, etc: $600
50# of corn per month: $50 and a morning to haul it in, fill, and make sure everything works.
Shooting a 200+ pound hog at night in the hammock: Priceless.

Going to a guide is probably the easiest route since they'll do a lot of the work for you. Just make sure you go to a reputable one. If you don't want to pay for a hunt you're going to want to stick to the fwc website. They've got some pretty good info about what wma's are good for what kind of game. Not sure if you're going to find a place where you can just show up and shoot a hog without any work besides an outfitter.
