This was what I got this past summer. It took 3 long hot days, but finally got one. The first day was ground blind, the 2nd and 3rd were spot and stalk....in 90 degree days...lol.

Thanks. I'm running low on meat, so summer needs to get here fast, so I can restock. I can't wait.

Unfortunately, the TWRA shut down hog hunting in TN to us about 2 years ago I believe. I have been stationed overseas for a while so it didn't effect me yet, but I certainly hope they get their heads screwed on straight before I get back. I am sure you can still hunt them on ranches in TN, but the public hunting of them is closed. Now, "professional" hunters get paid to eradicate the hogs using money from the purchase of hunting licenses. I applaud the TWRA on almost everything else that they do in regards to the wildlife management in my great state, but I think it is tragic to the hunters that this approach has been taken. The hog hunting in the wild was great there before. Now, I wouldn't know. Congratulations on joining the service, man. It is an interesting time to be in. Welcome to the fraternity. BB
