Default Caught This Small Sow Last Night

She weighed about 70 pounds on the hoof and was fat. This one is the primary ingredient for pig in the ground at a friends house next weekend.

Oh; that's the perfect size. I haven't seen any little pigs all month. I'm waiting on a nice on like that to have on Christmas. I love to put them in the smoker after soaking them in pineapple juice and garlic for 24 hours.

still dont know how ya get em with the metal floor in the trap...totally amazes me. i had a couple lil ones bang my trap up and dig out thanksgiving weekend. im gonna have to add a couple T-stakes to fix er up. they tilled it up prolly 8 inches deep, i was thinkin about takin that sand out, puttin in a floor and then burying it. just was too lazy at the time. well congrats on another capture, and how bout some pics of the pig in the ground cook off if ya get a chance.

The hogs at our place in Garvin county won't go in a trap with a floor either. There we covered the floor with dirt. We don't trap there often because its 76 miles from home and its been too hot. The trap has water but its not enough. Going to be working over there most of this week and will bait and set that trap.
