Scimitar Horned Oryx
 

Just got back from a hunt in South Texas @ Double Arrow Bow Hunting for Turkey and a Scimitar Horned Oryx. Scored on both! Wife was not so lucky though. She was after a BlackBuck or an Axis Buck and neither provided an opportunity for a shot. I posted a thread in the Turkey section for the Turkey which has the video for the turkey. That was pretty cool. Sometimes the animals can drive you crazy while you wait and wait till the one you want presents a shot. Way to keep you cool.

New rules for Scimitar??
 

Nice video. I was hoping to hunt a Scimitar-horned Oryx before the new laws went into effect. Did you have to have any special permits? I've read there are some great deals on those hunts now as the ranches are shooting off their herds.

I have a mount that now I can't sell across state lines.
