First hog with a bow...
1 Attachment(s)
Yesterday was the last day of my public land quota hunt. I saw hogs everyday and missed a few bigger ones. At the last minute I had a bunch of pigs run by me and managed to put one down with my bow finally. He wasn't a bruiser but he'll be good on the BBQ.:party0005:

Way to go! That's a good eater.
If you take a few gilts (yet to be bred sows) at that size along with larger hogs, you'll make definite progress in managing the feral hogs in your area. |
COngrats on the pig... I hope to get my first one by years end or the at the start of next year....

does your bow shoot all 3 types of broadheads you have in your quiver accurate? I usualy only carry 3 arrow's with me. But my alpine bow will shoot anything pretty accurate. I use the same pin from 10-30 yards without having to adjust. The pig turned out great slow cooked him in the smoker yesterday for turkey day... thanks for all the good words everyone. |
Nice! That's about the size I'll be looking for tomorrow.
