If I had the money I would just go on a guided hunt but I don't.Weapons, Car rental, License, guide fees, hunt fees, all put us regular folk left at hoping to make a friend out of state and sharing some outdoor fun.

YeeeeHAH! Looks like I am hunting Pigs in TX! I knew we had distant relatives in TX that my Dad found doing family tree side on his moms side. Well he chats on the ph w/ them and they were building a Ranch House on their hutning land. So I am off to Cross Plains TX to hunt 4days w/ them for pigs and whatever else we can. All exp paid 'cept for $80 for rental car & lic.

Now what does a MA resident need to hunt in TX? Just buy a hunting lic? I will be using their weapons on their land.

License will cost you $45. I would invest in some snake boots just for peace of mind. Hunting in April you may need some sun screen. Otherwise it sounds like they have you covered.

ya know, my gal did mention snakes.

SO that $45 is for the 5 day special res lic? I can hunt coyote and rabbit with that also? Anything else I can hunt come April 9-12?
