Default ATTN: Hog Hunters in Texas

Coryell County's war on hogs has stepped up a notch. Last friday marked the start of a month long feral hog eradication competition between counties across the state. Coryell County is in the mix. At stake for the paricipating counties are cash prizes of $25,000 for first place, $15,000 for second place and $5,000 for third. Anyone interested in hunting with a younger hunter or just wanting more info on this shoot me a PM for any questions.

I saw that on the news, the problem will be after the month of over they won't mention the hog problem we have in Texas again. Until something bad happens.

Can helicopters be used? If so I might be interested. People are silly thinking that they are putting a dent in the population by "hunting" them by conventional means. Death from above I say

I remember that being done in East Texas back in the 80s. the only problem is that people were trapping/killing the hogs from all over the nation and bringing them down.

You can bet that if it's a contest, there will be cheating, especially where rednecks are involved... It's like Michael Jackson watching over young boys!!!
