Default Red Stag - Shoot em or not?

MY buddy's In-laws have about 40 acres of some river bottom land and he has said that that have been a few Red Stag on his property. To our knowledge they are not 'pets' that have gotten loose... We are in TX so they are an exotic and legal to take year round. So do we shoot one a piece? Or let them walk?

I killed a Red Stag a few years ago & the meat is delicious. If everything is legal, I would go for it..

Its all legal. They have been eating the corn that we put out around a hog trap. Going to setup a feeder this weekend, then hopefully next weekend get out there with our bows and see if we cant fill the freezer.
