good weekend of huntingwith pics
 

Had a pretty full weekend of hunting with some hogs,gators and dove season opener. Had three friends from Kentucky come down and spend the last couple of days of hunting hogs and a couple of nights on the lake trying for a gator. Ended up shooting 3 pigs and 2 gators although 1 was a bit on the little side he measured in at 5-6 the other one was a respectable 7-1 inch. @ of the hogs were nice ones. The first one we shot was the smallest here he is.



The 2 bigger hogs were shot out of the same stand the first one at 6-20 and the second one at 7-15 pm. The black had no ears.

The gators were hunted on Lake Okeechobee It hasn't been a great year for gator hunting down here. we aren't seeing many and most of the ones we see are under 6 ft. Here's a few pics.

This is my buddy randy and his 5 ft 6in gator it was getting late and we had passed on a few I could tell he was ready to kill something so when we got close to this he let the arrow fly.

Keith had shot this one early in the envening not a bad one at 7ft 1 in. This is also Keith's first gator. Randy had been down here with me before. 1 more pic.

I'm not going to say much about the dove hunt other than with 3 hogs and 2 gators that almost matched our dove total hope you all enjoy. Jerry

That's a good weekend indeed. I just moved to Orlando from Dallas and I'm surprised how many feral hogs there are around here. Most of the guys I know hunt for them, often to the exclusion of anything else. That's also the first time I've seen gators hunted before. Nice post.
