Default Huge Hogs on property

I have been finding rubs on trees up to my waist where the hogs are turning the trees black. Some of the trees are actually growing in a curve from being rubbed so much by big brutes like this guy.

This porker is sure to get either the arrow or the bullet. He has been rutting up the property really bad, I thought I was going to get about 10 hogs on the cam. BUt just this guy. I guesstimate him to be about 300-350 what do you guys think.

It's been 4 years since that pic was taken. Are you sure that particular hog is still there?

Well this is my buddys game cam i think its a wildview 2 mp and I can barely get it to take pics let alone get the right date or time.
In that pic I think its about 3:00 a.m.

Default New to Ho hunting

I am in Russellville Ark. I have a 17 hmr is this big enough to hog hunt with or should i use my 300 rum with 150gr managed recoil.
