Texas hog hunt

Well we made it back from Texas with 9 hogs shot, 6 recovered. I shot 2 with a 243 and lost them. I also shot one with my 50 cal M/L. Droppedit in it's tracks.Great trip. We did a little bass fishing and I caught a 6 pound 2 oz bass. Dang it, the files are too large to post picts. I'll work on it later.

Congrats on a successful trip.

Dont worry about the ones you never recovered there are plenty of God's creatures that enjoyed the free meal;)

Upload the pics to photobucket makes it a lot easier to put multi pics on here:)

Sounds like a pretty good trip.

I would have thought the same thing, but most of the big ones I shoot and leave laying, the coyotes and buzzards won't touch, either. And I never knew either to be that picky.

I understand that the hogs are varmits and need to be shot, but I still have a tough time shooting an animal and not finding it. They even eat each other. We draggedsome ofthe remains out back and in an hour the otherpigs were allready eating them.
