hog hunt bait?
 

I am going on my first hog hunt next week in Oklahoma. I was going to bring some corn but what can I mix with it to liven it up or does anyone has a hog bait they recommend?

You could mix in some Hog Wild. It is a berry and molasses mixture that is in powder form and it does bring them in. Justmix it with the corn, throw it out, find a chair and a beer and get ready.

Weekend hunt I wouldn't take anything. It will take some time for them to find it + sour is better. Future note you can mix beer with the corn, let it perk for a week, (dont get any on you or your truck) then they could find it faster. You can go your local grain/feed store and get the strawberry powder and mix with the corn. This stuff is very strong and they use it for feeding young pigs. Works well also. I have been told that ripe sardines work well also.
Go out early watch ponds/streams. Sometimes you have to kick them out of the thick cover. Hunt at night with spot lights.
