ORIGINAL: rustynobles

i know javelina are actually rodents, but are they edible? i mean squirrels and rabbits are, and they're also rodents.
Whoever told you a javelina (collared peccary) is a rodent, is abig-time biology flunky.Peccaries aren't true pigs, but pigs are their closest extant relatives. Have you ever seen a rodent with hooves?
