I use my browning 30-06 and hornady's Interbond 150grains or my Merkel drilling 12/12/7x57R or my winchester defender 12 gauge or my other winchester 1300 turkey...

Ruger Mini 14 with a Vari X III 6X scope, taken quite a few Pigs and Goats with it. taken 2 or more from a herd on numerous occasions. Never waisted the meat! Always packed it out and gave it to someone who wanted it (can't eat pork becauseI have gout)

Here's my 6.8SPCTennessee do-all rifle. Guards the home, eliminates predators, brings in venison, and hopefully will be bringin' home the bacon from big south fork in january

Old 1970's Marlin 1895 45/70 with a 4X Weaver, and a 300 grain Barnes Original over a bubch of Reloder 7. The 1895 puts them down right there.

NEF Handi rifle in 45-70 gov. Shooting 405 gr flat nose soft points. And the dam things still manage to run 30-40 yards after being hit with that much lead and muzzle energy.

And the weird scope is actually a red dot with an adaptor to mount the night vision monocular to the rear of it. Worked well this summer, but now I have an AMT gen 1 weapon site.

meat gets a little shot up. Perfect if you don't mind eating around bullet fragments. they don't run far.
