I think you fellas may appreciate our latest video. My buddy phil (the shooter) and I (camera guy) recently went boar hunting down near Monterey, California on a ranch called Native Hunt - we normally run the public lands like everybody else, but we know the owner of the ranch, and he wanted Phil to take out a particular pig that wanted harvested so i tagged along to shoot the video.

I thought were being an ass when I saw your comment on petting zoo. It looked like a pretty good spot and stalk place till I watched the pigs follow the guy to the kill. Our pigs here run like hell for the next county. You are right, That is kind of like a petting zoo.

Why did that guy even wear camo, and what was the point in 170 yards he could have walked up and done that with a 22 pistol. Huntingwithjim do us a favor and don't call that hunting.

Wow, simply put, that was pathetic. Thats not hunting, that is shooting a pet.

Man... yall are all right about the whole pettin zoo thing, that shouldnt be called huntin, as a matter of fact that me be considered cruelty to animals since it appears that the hogs are tame

Well briefly in our defense, we were harvesting a specific pig from this population - so perhaps hunting is the wrong word. I'll give you that. - but considering that we got to keep all of the meat and none of it is going to waste, I can't see how it can be considered cruelty to animals. With that logic, all people raising animals for slaughter are guilty of that charge - frankly these pigs have it a lot better than many of those.

If I would have done that you all would be praising the shot... A 170 yard shot with a bow!!:D
Now that would be awesome. That's the exact reason I only bow hunt.
