What do you do?
 

With your hogs that is. Going tothe same place where I got the buck in my avatar this weekend. Primarily hunting for a trophy buck but was told they have a lot of hogs this year. Do ya'll make sausage out of the whole hog or are there choices of meat that are fit for the grill, do you add domestic pork fat to your sausage? Not trying to count my chickens before they hatch but knowing ahead of time would be helpful.

Most of the time I just cut out the backstraps and hams and feed the 'yotes with the rest. On occasion I will take one to the butcher to have sausage made as well as the roasts. Oh and pork chops as well.

I'll quickly remove the shoulders and hams for bbq. The loins I remove and roast whole. When I et excess pork, I donate the cooked meat to a local boxer erscue to help with pet food bills.
