Im officially hog hunting now
 

I tagged my second buck this last Sat. and have only one doe tag left. Its hard to find the doe this time of the year. Or I should say, hard to get a doe in bow range because of all the buck pressure on them. So Im going to offically call it hog season. I always see doe when im hog hunting, so im making the call and officially declaring its now hog season for me.;)

With a few exceptions it is hogs for me too. I'm after a mulie this weekend and a couple out of town trips for a doe or two are on the calander as well. Other than that its time to put pork in the freezer and get my 1st kill with my recurve!

Well I am officially hanging my bows up till next year as I leave for Australia in a couple of weeks for a month:)

Just hope I can get an invite to go hog hunting somewhere in East TX when I get back:)

You know darn well you'll be hog hunting with me. Oh and BTW, I'll be taking a chainsaw in and moving the ladderstand to ALMOST behind the cedar tree. It will be about a 15 yd shot with good cover.

Been good for you guys..I haven't seen a deer or a hog in weeks! Been hunting at 5 different locations in the last month...nothing anywhere. I think they all packed up and moved your way.
