I can't tellyou if its worth the trip or not. I'd have to know more about the property you plan to hunt. That said I'm sure there are hogs in the area.

Denton County isa half-hournorth of Dallas and Fort Worth (where I live). Much of the county has become subdivisions in the past few years, but there's still open space.

Undoubtedly there are hogs in the county...whether you'll see any, I couldn't say.

Do you plan to hunt at night?

Where about Denton. Denton is a fairly large town. Ive spent lots of time in Denton. Actually ive spent lots of time all over the north Metroplex. Denton, Little Elm, Pilot Point, Mckinney, etc etc.

There is no real telling you if its worth it because there is no telling what the land is going to look like. But there are defenitely a lot of hogs in Texas. good luck.
