Talked to my bro in Lehigh and said the hogs he has seem to be in transit not really staying on his land. When he does find them he will take a good eating size hog and empty his 45 into the rest just to keep the numbers down.I told him he was wasting ammo and time...go get some hunters and cut them loose, but he doesn't want to disturb his whitetail crop.I may have to head up there in November!

Southeastern has tons of them, try around Talihina, Wilburton, Idabel, etc. I think I saw a hunting show hunting hogs down there. We've got 'em in northeastern OK but notlike down south.

I second the Love Valley WMA. I've killed a few hogs there. The area off of Gene Bond and Hog Pen roads is a good place to start. I have seen them out there in packs of at least 75. I have even seen some swimming across the Red River. I talked to the game warden out at Canton Lake. He says there's lots of hogs out there, but that a lot of the areas they are in are really inaccessible. I would try Love Valley if I were you. It's about 130 miles from OKC, but I have made plenty of day trips out of it. I've shot a lot of ducks down there too!
