Default recomendations to a newbie

OK i'm new to the site but i am looking for some help.
I will be going on my first hog hunt at the end of august with some friends.
I have a .243 win and was wondering what type of shells would be ideal for hogs.

I shoot Winchester's Supreme 95 gr. balistic tip. It has a lot of energy and has worked well for me in the past. Two years ago I dropped a 300 pounder in her tracks. Shot placement is key. I've taken 2 whitetail with the same round and they didn't go more than 50 yds.

You also might try the Hornady 100 gr BTSP InterLock. I've not hunted with it yet but it's in my case. My dad used it this year and really liked it. At the time it was cheaper than the Winchester. Haven't priced them since.

thanks for all the help guys, I had it narrowed down to 100 gr. soft point or the 95 grain silvertip. Any other advice you have for a first timer.

Shoot low as close to the front leg as possible or better yet, earhole shot. DO NOT shoot behind its ears in the neck. The spine AIN'T there. Trailed one for a friend 2 days ago to no avail with that shot from a 30-06. Pig will drop, squeal, spin around, then get up in high gear and leave! Good Luck!
