I hunt on my place in Centerville Texas....what is the best bait for hog hunting?

I'm right up the road in Gun Barrel City. Corn works just fine for me. I do on occasion mix strawberry kool-aide with the corn. Paticularly if I'm digging a post hole and filling it with corn.

i pig hunt just outside of centerville we dont bait much intetionaly for pigs if they hit the feeders cool wehave tried the hog wild and it does work out there we just hvae more fun spot and stalk threw the big dry creek bed runnin threw the place but not easy thing 2 do if terrain not set up for that but koolaid and corn works beer and corn fermintaed for awhiel works just try it all out

im in east texas and this is what we do. take a 5 gallon bucket. fill the bucket half full of corn, 1 gallon of milk, 3 cherry koolaid packets, 5 cups of water, 1 cup diesel, old fruit, and a couple old loafs of bread. mix it up and set it in the sun for 2 weeks with somme type of lid on it. then just go pour it on the ground but not where you want to deer hunt. it stinks to high heven b ut it has worked wonders for us. i know it sounds made up but it works.

Corn, corn and more corn.. The more soured the better. Like Greg said, you can add some strawberry kool aid. I use vanilla extract sometimes. Rotten potato's work too, if it stinks, it will usually work.

We hunt right between Centerville and Buffalo and all we use is plain corn. The pigs know what time the feeders go off and are there waiting on it. A couple years ago we shot over 100 of them trying to thin them out but it doesn't look like it really made a difference.

im working in denton-- north of dallas for the next few weeks-- any hogs to bow hunt close in this area? would sure beat the swimming pool and sittin in the motel!

cooper lake state park but it is about two hours from denton i think. check it out
