I just bought aWinchester model 70 in 7mm Rem I'm hoping will do just as good of a job on these Texas and Arkansas hogs.
A lot of people here use a lot less.

I have had good success with a .308 150 grain ballistic tip or soft point. Put it in thier breadbasket or earhole and you'll have no problem. I personally like the earhole shot, they drop right there, no tracking and they tend to dance around on thier back for a minute or two.:D

I use a 375 Big Bore on our Arkansas Hogs.

They never seem to do anything but drop, and It does'nt tear up alot of meat. That's the kicker.

I was Born in Oklahoma, Moved to Arkansas when I was 13, and have lived in NM now for about 8 years.

I still hunt all the above states whenever possible. My dad ownes land in Stone county Arkansas and I hunt hogs there every year, along with doing some smallmouth fishing.
