Trapping

I am going hopefully this weekend to start baiting some areas to get ready to start trapping again. How many of you are baiting and trapping right now?

CRO,for years we use totrap inOctober and November. The Cubans, Jamaicans, Haitians, Dominicans and Asians would pay $1.50 to $2.00 a lb for 65 and 75 poundersbutchered forThanksgiving and X-mas. Istopped trapping around 10yrs ago. Man, we have trapped and Butchered100's over the years.

Seems like with the spring green up, the hogs are harder to keep in an area and they are wandering everywhere eating the fresh stuff. Our trappinghas not produced in the last few weeks.

We were trapping quite a bit for the last couple of months, but the trap needs to be moved and work has been too busy. Hope to get out in the next week or so and get back after it.
