Midwest Hog Hunt
Hello,
I am looking to go on a hog hunt, hopefully somewhere near Illinois. I am just starting to research where I could go without spending a fortune. If theres any state/ place you'all can recommend I would appreciate it. I have never gone hog hunting before and it looks fun. I would either use my bow, or my shotgun (w/ slugs). I'm assuming that I have to go south, but hopefully not too far of a drive. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I live right on the Ill./Iowa border & travel to Oklahoma & Tx. to Bowhunt wild hogs. Most are 13-14 hour one way & with Ranches that you pay a fee-sometimes by the day or others 2-3-4 days & no guarentee.
For midwest-no kill, no pay places you have Scenic View west of Dubuque, Ia. & Northstar near Tama, Montour Iowa.
It IS a blast, I am booked for Shiloh Bowhunting in Stonewall, Ok. for June Bowhunt & looking to set up a couple others.
