RE: your biggest hog
Well, I can't compete with the hottie in the pink, but here is my biggest pig to date. Hopefully they'll just keep gettin bigger!! I hear the funk with the taste gets worse with age, not size.
This sow was about 200 lbs, carrying 6 little spotted piglets!

My biggest hog???? Well it was a long night of drinking, in a little bar near the boarder...........And I hope there is no pictures.
Wait, you mean the animal hog. Ive taken a 2 around the 400lb mark. Most of my biggest tend to be in the 300s, not many. But for the most part, they tend to run in the 100 to 200lb catagory. I like to shot them in the 100lb range. Better eaters.

This guy about 100lbs
This guys about 250 to 300lbs
This guy is about 100 to 150
And another a little less than 100lbs
Another around the 250 to 300 mark
Those around the 400lb mark dont make it out of the field much.

I too can not compete with that beauty in pink but it is interesting to me how much some of those hogs weigh. They must be much lighter for their physical sizehere in south Texas (small bones I suppose[8D] ). Most look and feel heavy but the scales tell a different story time after time. Here were the winners in the2005-6 season in the biggest contest in south TX, Los Cazadores in Pearsall. These weightscame from realscales, and the results from the 2006-07 season are not final yet but the leader's weightsare lighter than those shown for 05-06. (Not surprising since this area is in a prolonged drought.)
