FEEDER ISSUE

RE: FEEDER ISSUE
Man I would love to see the trail cam pics from that.I've seen pics of them taking their noses and spinning the wheel to get the corn to come out on low hanging feeders.I've had them root out under my gravity feeders and get all the corn to come out in one shot. We use caps with holes now. Smartest animals in the woods. Bar none!!!

BB23,
If you have a feeder, such as a moultrie, with the spinning wheel, put some spacers (washers), under the legs of the timer box where it attaches to the bucket or drum, thus opening the gap some. My moultrie feeders are several years old, before you could set the time to dispence the feed. They all came with plastic dispencer wheels (?), I changed them to metal (because squirrels was chewing them up). I then put a couple of washers under each leg, where they mounted to the bucket/barrel, this worked for me.

Before picture. I think this is the picture you are looking for??? We were using about 200lbs of corn every two weeks, Thanks to these guys. We did move the feeder up the hill to a different spot since then.

RE: FEEDER ISSUE
what kinda drum do you have and type of feeder? we have 12 feeders going and only ever had one clog.that one I added some pellets that I had to the corn and it swelled from fog moisture.only had one bag of that and haven't gotten any more and haven't had any more cloggs.
I have 3 30 gal. garbage cans and the rest are drumbs with boat wenches to crank them up; all have funnels and Moultrie feeders on the drum.no problems so far. some have been running 24 -7 for 7 or 8 years.
