RE: WHAT IS THE BEST ATTRACTANT FOR HOGS????
I will believe anything after a buddy told me to spray my fishing bait with WD-40 and I'll be damned if I didn't out fish my other buddies with this technique.

Yes, I have heard of Taking a five gallon bucket, filling it with corn, pouring a package of rasberry jello on top of it then a quart of diesel or kerosene in the bucket. You can pour it on the ground, and the hogs will find it, dig a hole and pour it in, or put the lid on the bucket and drill a few holes so the corn will come out and the hogs will push it all over the place. You probably should secure the bucket with a chain so it doesn't end up on you neighbors land though.

All I ever use is either Hog Wild or Pig Out mixed in a feeder with corn. They go crazy for that stuff....Last year they tore down one of my feeders to get to it.

RE: WHAT IS THE BEST ATTRACTANT FOR HOGS????
I am new here and have just recently started hunting hogs on a regular basis. I have been using corn with Hog Wild but after reading other ways to bring them in I am ready to get back to the woods to try them. I may be asking a very dumb question but someone said they have put carpet on a tree and soaked it with diesel and this brought them in. Is this the same diesel gas I can buy at the local gas stations???? If so, how often do you have to go back and pour more on the carpet? I would like to know more specifics on this technique. Thanks!
