I haven't had the chance to do hog yet but I can tell you this;
My prefered hunting method of anything is the stalk, stand hunting over baited areas etc..just don't seem like hunting to me[:'(]

Both. Dont limit your self. If the hogs are moving pretty well into a food source, use a blind. IF they are speratic, stalk.

I prefer to stalk. If I know where the pigs are, I don't wait for them. I go to them. They make a lot of noise when in groups, and I'll keep walking to the sound from downwind. They don't know I've arrived until the first one drops.

In the warmer months with swirling winds and perspiration spreading scent like a human air freshner, I sit stand or watch the roads. In the colder months, we stalk and listen for them in the palmettos. One exception is rainy afternoons in the summer. We stalk then too. They like to get up and root then.

Lately stalking hasn't worked as well. I think most of that is due to all the fallen leaves. It's hard to sneak up on them anyway and then when you add in all the dry leaves...

Stand hunting works but I don't find it nearly as exciting and all the sitting eventually gets old.
