2 hog day
I recently acquired access to a place I've wanted to hunt for years.Today Michelle and I decided to give it a try.On our way in as I eased quietly down a trail I noticed a hog about 80 yards off in an old gravel quarry I quickly took aim just behind her ear and squeezed the trigger. The Remington 95 gr. AccuTip found it's mark and down she went. Michelle kept going on to the next quarry, just before dark I heard the report of her gun.When I got to her she told me the story : I was easing down this trail and I kept hearing something of to my right so I stood and waited ,and within a few minutes this big spotted boar crossed the trail about 70 yards ahead of me,he stopped perfect and I shot him at the base of his ear,he dropped like a ton of rocks!
