There was only about 80 pounds of meat on the animal but this was a really young bull. He had a big stomach too. I'm told by my friends that if you shoot a big bull in the thousand pound size, that the percentage of meat is a lot better and the ones that I saw looked it too. They had strait backs and smaller bellies.

Yeah, I'm sure that there's black ones too but I haven't seen any yet. One of the ones that I saw up top near the pastures was black with tinges of white brindled on him but he was one of the ones that looks like is on steroids. I suspect he wasan actual excaped pasture cow because all the pasture cows were of beefed up breeds. He was smart though and ran off after spotting me. The others that I saw were mostly red and white and I think one was black and white.
