true or false
I started this thread to cut throughthe pig poop and get to the truth about a few things i heard.
someone told me that as soon as you kill a hog you have to bleed them out by cutting theirneck or catch em and cut off their gonads and let them bleed to death. Is this true? why?or why not? |

RE: true or false
hog pucky!!!!! If you shot the hog it's bleeding anyway!! Most farmers castrate the pig so he don't get so strong smelling (Testostorne) for commercial sale but wild pigs as long or let me change that the best eating pig is 40 - 200 lbs pig males in the 300 = range smell rank!!!! best for sausage
hope this helps |
RE: true or false
absolutly! it sounded like pig doodoo when he said it and being new to the sport i am in no position to spout pearls of wisdom on hunting hogs. lucky for me you guys are here otherwise there might have been some castrated hogs running around florida.lol
