Just curious. The kids around here tie them up and sell them at market. When we did it in Lousianna, we would stab them with a Tennesse Tooth pick and take them to the house to butcher.;)

thanks guys it was a tossup as to who was havein more fun. reb is correct i run plotts and curs or a mixture of the two. we were stabbin them we can't sale them so we kill them and eat them ourselves.

Yes kbick, we hunt with dogs and the dogs have itdown, but sometimes one dog willturn lose and there is were one might get cut on the arm. You have to be sure of what you're doing and been doing it many times before!:)

yea we stick em i'm not in favor of throwin lead very close to a dog that is worth $1200+ for the cheapest dog i've got that is doin it's job. but like reb said the dogs have them caught we usually lay them on their side to do it but some we have to stick standing caught. it's very quick and humane despite what all the liberals and tree huggers 99% of the hogs i stick are dead quicker than a lot of hogs i've seen shot.

wow thats sounds like a ton of fun... i have nothin against it and wasn't knocking it just curious cause alot of people on here were on his case because he did it, calling him crazy and a bad example, and stuff.....it lookslike a huge rush, and fun, i will have to try that some day.

it's the way it's been done for years down here, out of all the hogs i've killed i can only remember shooting mabe 10. yea it's a rush for sure nothing like gettin up close and personal
